ইতিহাস
কড়াপুর মিয়াবাড়ি মসজিদটি বরিশাল জেলার রায়পাশা ইউনিয়মের কড়াপুর গ্রামে অবস্থিত।
ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলের শুরুর দিকে ১৮শ শতকে হায়াত মাহমুদ নামক এক জমিদার ব্রিটিশ দের বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ হলে জমিদারি হারান এবং নির্বাসিত হন। নির্বাসন জীবন শেষ করে ১৯ বছর পর দেশে ফিরে আসেন। আর তখনই মসজিদটি নির্মান করেন।
অবকাঠামো
মসজিদটি মূলত এক সুচারু কারুকাজযুক্ত মিনারের জন্য প্রসিদ্ধ। তিনটি গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট মসজিদে ৫টি মিনার অবস্থিত। মাঝের গম্বুজ আকারে কিছুটা বড়। পূর্ব দিকে তিনটি প্রবেশ দ্বার রয়েছে৷ ১৫ টি সিরি বিশিষ্ট একটি উচু পাটাতনের উপর মসজিদটর অবস্থান। পাটাতনের নীচে বেশ ৩ টি ঘর রয়েছে যেগুলা ইমাম ও মাদ্রাসার ছাত্রদের ঘর হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হত।
২০১৯ সালে প্রত্নতাত্ত্ব বিভাগ মসজিদটি সংস্কার করে। ফলে, প্রাচীন বৈশিষ্ট্যের সকল ছাপ মুছে একদম নতুনত্ব পেয়েছে মসজিদটি।
কীভাবে যাবেন?
ঢাকা দেশের লঞ্চ বা বাস যোগে প্রথমে বরিশাল যেতে হবে। বরিশাল চৌমাথা থেকে অটো নিয়ে খুব সহজেই যাওয়া যায় মসজিদে। ৯ কি. মি. দূরত্ব যেতে ভাড়া পড়ে ৩০০ টাকার আশপাশে৷

History
The Korapur Mia Bari Mosque is located in Korapur village under Raipasha Union of Barishal district.
In the early 18th century, during the beginning of British colonial rule, a local zamindar named Hayat Mahmud revolted against the British. As a result, he lost his estate and was exiled. After 19 long years, he returned from exile and subsequently built this mosque.
Architecture
The mosque is mainly celebrated for its finely decorated minaret. It features three domes and five minarets in total, with the central dome being slightly larger than the side ones. There are three entrances on the eastern side.
The mosque stands on an elevated platform with 15 steps leading upward. Under this platform, there are three rooms which were once used as living quarters for the imam and madrasa students.
In 2019, the Department of Archaeology renovated the mosque, which resulted in the complete removal of its ancient architectural features, giving it a brand-new appearance.
How to Visit
From Dhaka, one must first travel to Barishal by launch or bus. From Barishal Choumatha, the mosque can be reached easily by auto-rickshaw. The distance is approximately 9 km, and the fare usually ranges around 300 BDT.
